Mustang Guitars

Mustang Guitars came about after I completed the NC Course in Stringed Instrument Making and Repairs at Anniesland College on the West Side of Glasgow. The course was started by Master Luthier William C. Kelday, and today has a reputation for turning out well qualified instrument makers and repairers.

Turning my hand to building electric guitars, I was invited by the College to teach part-time on the course and six years later I am now a permanent member of the college staff, teaching guitar making and repairs on acoustic and electric instruments as well as running the evening leisure class on guitar restoration.

I build acoustic and electric guitars on commission and run my repair business, The Fret Doctor, on the days I don't actually teach.
